Our work happens in the open. Every month we run events where donors, volunteers and neighbours work side by side — packing, teaching, screening and celebrating. Turn up, bring a friend, and see exactly where your support lands.

We take nothing from your gift

Our trustees, staff and volunteers are funded separately by a small group of founding donors, so every shilling given to a family programme is spent on that programme. We publish a plain-language account of what came in and where it went at the end of every quarter — no jargon, no spin, just the numbers and the names of the villages we served.

What families and partners say

We ask the people we serve and the people we work alongside to tell us the truth about how we are doing. These are their words, unedited.

Having been involved in donor-funded initiatives and community development projects in South Africa for almost 15 years, I can confidently state that Lotus Impact Foundation is among the most efficient, capable, and professionally managed implementation organisations we have had the privilege of working with. One Plus One Foundation wholeheartedly endorses Lotus Impact Foundation and recommends the organisation without reservation to any donor, funding institution, or development partner seeking a reliable, accountable, and highly effective implementation partner.

We have had the pleasure of working with Lotus Khoza and the Lotus Impact Foundation( LIF)  over the past four years.  During this time, we have built six new classrooms and renovated an existing borehole at the Vuyelani Primary School in Lillydale, South Africa.  Lotus and the LIF did a great job as the GC for our projects.  Lotus is always on time, on or under budget and pays close attention to details.  Moreover, Lotus goes the “extra mile” making sure that on-going building maintenance is prioritized and quality materials and structures are used.
